Seasonal Materials Toolbox

This resource is distributed to Design ahead of CR1 to accelerate CAD development and ensure visual consistency across the line. Each material renders identically in every CAD, regardless of which designer builds it or which PM owns the project.

The library consists of live Illustrator files that can be eyedropped directly onto uppers in both AI-assisted and classic Illustrator workflows. Each swatch is built by a dedicated contractor in a true repeat, at accurate scale, and in the approved colorway, so designers start from a production-accurate foundation rather than recreating materials from scratch.

By the time the library is published, Design, Development, CMF, and PM have aligned on the materials and colors approved for R1 sampling. That early alignment delivers value across functions:

Design works within an approved palette, reducing rework and keeping creative energy focused on the product.

Development can begin pre-costing immediately, using the same locked material set.

Sourcing can preorder materials early, which protects the calendar for long-lead and seasonal developments.

Paired with Mural / Miro, the library becomes a shared visual language across triads and leadership, making reviews faster and decisions clearer. It's designed to compound in value as the season progresses, becoming the single source of truth for materials from concept through sampling.
